| Jill said: I'm confused as to whether or not I should invite oot relatives to my shower. I don't have many local friends to invite as I'm not inviting many to the wedding and I would love my relatives to come, it means alot to me and I don't get to see them very often although we are a fairly tight-knit clan. They all live around the same town about 550 miles away from us, about an 8 hour drive. I would love to at least invite them, but I'm not sure if they would come due to the distance and if they don't I really don't want them to take it as me gift grabbing or being selfish by askng them to come far. I really and truly would just like them to come and be there, my cousin (who lives about 45 minutes from everyone) got married last summer and was lucky enough to be surrounded by family at her shower, that's something I miss out on alot :( I don't remember exactly whether or not she sent an invite to my Mom for her shower, but I want to say that she did. |
